Our Mission

iOS App Review Wait Times is a community-driven platform that helps Apple developers understand how long the App Store review process really takes. Apple does not publish official review time statistics, so developers are often left guessing when planning their app launches and updates. We built this site to close that gap.

By collecting real submission data from developers around the world, we provide transparent, up-to-date insights into current review conditions. Whether you are submitting your first app or shipping a critical hotfix, our dashboard helps you set realistic expectations and plan accordingly.

How It Works

Developers sign in with their GitHub account and create a tracker for each App Store submission. As their app moves through Apple's review pipeline — from Waiting for Review to In Review and finally Approved or Rejected — they update their tracker with the current status. Each status change is timestamped automatically.

We aggregate all submissions into anonymised statistics shown on the homepage dashboard. You can filter by app category, submission type, update type, and whether an expedited review was requested. The charts and averages update in real time as new data comes in.

Data Accuracy

All data on this site is self-reported by real developers. While individual experiences can vary, the aggregate trends become increasingly reliable as more people contribute. We do not fabricate or estimate any data points — every number you see on the dashboard comes directly from a developer's submission.

We encourage all iOS developers to participate. The more data we collect, the more accurate and useful the trends become for the entire community.
